The problem:
A company with extensive logistics relies on several suppliers for labels and labelling. If a label should happen to go missing in the company, an entire picking stock can come to a standstill.
Ordering is a complicated process, and deliveries are allocated to several different occasions with different invoices. The head office does not have an overview of purchases, and good prices disappear in administration costs.
Our solution:
Each unit receives a login to the Strålfors web-based order system, where they can place their orders. It is always possible to see where the order is, and the head office obtains an overall order history. The agreement also includes a minimum stock balance for respective products and Strålfors is responsible to ensure that the stock never runs out.
Result
- The orders go quickly and easily, and better prices have been obtained for the products.
- The company receives one overall invoice. This produces a better overall economy and a reduction in administration.
- For the head office the new system means it has a better overview of what has been ordered. It is also always clear who to turn to for service and support.
